⚫︎How to make
①Wash the glutinous rice thoroughly under cold water.Rinse until the water runs clear.
②Soak the rice in water for 4–6 hours, or overnight. This helps the grains absorb moisture and cook evenly.
③After soaking, drain the rice well using a fine sieve or strainer.
④Place the soaked rice and water in a pot. Bring it to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15–20 minutes. Make sure to keep an eye on the water level and add more if needed.
⑤After cooking, let the rice sit covered for 10–15 minutes to finish steaming.
This helps the texture become sticky and chewy.
