- 1) Fried Dry Konnyaku
Konnyaku Jelly White 250g
Soy Sauce – 1 tablespoon
Sake – 1 tablespoon
Sugar – 1 teapoon
Garlic Paste – 1 teapoon
Ginger Paste – 1 teapoon
Oil for deep fry
- 2) Sweet & Spicy Konnyaku
Konnyaku Jelly Black 250g
Sesame Seed Oil – 1 tablespoon
Sugar – 1 tablespoon
Soy Sauce – 1 tablespoon
Sake – 1/2 tablespoon
Mirin – 1/2 tablespoon
Dried Red Chili – 1piece
Directions
- 1) Fried Dry Konnyaku
- Make a diagonal cut on the surface of the konnyaku with a knife or fork.
- Cut into bite-sized pieces by hand.
Wrap and keep in freezer for one night. - (Next day)
Pour boiling water and leave for 10 minutes. - Drain and squeeze the water, and wipe it off with kitchen paper.
- Add all seasonings and mix. And then keep for 1 hour for soak.
- Sprinkle with potato starch.
- Put oil in a frying pan to a depth of about 1 cm and heat it.
Add 6 and fry until both sides are golden brown. - Serve it.
It has a texture like fried chicken. - 2) Sweet & Spicy Konnyaku
- (Preparation)
Knead the konnyaku with salt and rinse with water. Then boil in boiling water for 2-3 minutes. - Make a diagonal cut on the surface of the konnyaku with a knife or fork.
Then cut into 1.5cm square. - Heat the sesame oil in a pan. When the oil is hot, add Konnyaku and fry until browned.
- Add all seasonings and fry on medium heat until the juice is gone.
Serve in a bowl and it’s done.
